TELENOR:
CHATBOT FOR FACEBOOK MESSENGER

As briefly described under my work experience, I worked on Facebook Chatbot for Telenor Pakistan to aid customers service workers with answering simple questions such as: "What's my balance?". Key takeaways from the system were that Pakistani customers were able to browse their balance, buy (upsell) data packets and view offer all within the Facebook Messenger.

The chatbot was developed with NodeJS and MongoDB as a database engine, using the Messenger API connected with the Telenor Pakistan's Facebook page. Also, the chatbot was placed on an AWS instance. Additionally, the chatbot had integrated a Pixel inside the WebView which was used to get the user's phone number. This phone number was used to get the user's monetary & data balance, active offers, and the ability to order new data packets within the WebView - all without having to authentication.
